CHI host families are at the core of CHI programs. By volunteering to open their homes and hearts to the world's young people, they are giving them an uncommon gift: an offer of friendship, an opportunity to experience the American way of life, and a genuine interest in learning about their students' cultures and customs. CHI host families are special people of extraordinary goodwill and a generosity of spirit. They enjoy teenagers and are willing to treat their student as a member of the family. Hosting a CHI student can be a rewarding experience for the whole family. We appreciate our volunteer host families for the care they give the students.
